SETUP & GAMEPLAY

Getting started

Placement

Place the boards 21 feet (or 7 paces) from each other from the front of the board. Playing with one board? Use a die pack as a marker.

Teams

Unlike in cornhole, you're on the same side as your partner. Decide which team plays offense (throws) first and which team is on defense (catching). 2v2.

Turns

Each turn consists of two throws unless you earn “sendbacks” (see rule below) and then the other team takes a turn.

Throwing

Throw from anywhere behind the front of the board (or die pack). You can throw over- or underhand but the die must be thrown upwards.

Catching

You can only use one hand to catch the die, and you may trap the die against your body. Defensive team must stand behind the front of the board.

Sendbacks

Every time a player scores on a throw, they get another shot. You only stop throwing if you miss the board or the die is caught.

OFFICIAL

Scoring system

Games to 11

If the team who starts scores 11 points first, the team that shoots second will get a rebuttal turn. If the team that shoots second scores 11 points first, they win.

Overtime

If both teams end up tied at 11 points or higher, the first overtime round begins. The team that is ahead at the end of the round wins.

Auto win

If a team sinks two shots in a single turn, they win, regardless of the score.
